Difficult, But Not Impossible

Difficult, But Not Impossible

Let’s be honest… life can feel overwhelming. Some days, it feels like the weight is too heavy, the road too long, and the battle too intense. Whether you’re fighting addiction, trying to heal from your past, building something from nothing, or simply trying to keep your head above water… things can get hard.

But the truth you need to hold onto is that it may be difficult, but it’s not impossible… not when God is with you.

Luke 1:37, “For nothing will be impossible with God.” That’s not just a nice verse, that’s a promise from Heaven. The same God who parted seas, raised the dead, healed the broken, and set captives free is the same God who walks with you today and everyday.

1. God Uses the Difficult to Grow You

God never wastes pain. Every trial, every tear, every storm is an opportunity for Him to strengthen your faith, deepen your character, and draw you closer to Him. You may not understand why you're going through it, but trust that He’s working through it.

“And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him.” - Romans 8:28

2. Your Weakness is an Invitation for His Strength

You don’t have to have it all together. You don’t have to be the strongest one in the room. In fact, God shines brightest when we admit we can’t do it alone. That’s when His power shows up.

“My grace is sufficient for you, for My power is made perfect in weakness.” - 2 Corinthians 12:9

3. God Will Never Leave You in the Struggle Alone

Even in the most difficult moments, when you feel abandoned, exhausted, or stuck, God is still right beside you. He doesn’t walk away when things get tough. He walks with you through the fire.

“When you pass through the waters, I will be with you… when you walk through the fire, you will not be burned.” - Isaiah 43:2

4. Take One Step of Faith at a Time

You don’t have to leap the whole mountain in a day. God often leads us step by step. He gives strength for today, grace for the next step, and wisdom for the next decision. Just keep moving forward in faith.

“The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord.” - Psalm 37:23

5. Difficult Isn’t Defeat. It’s a Setup for a Testimony

You may be in a hard place now, but God is writing a bigger story. What feels like a battle today may become the testimony that sets someone else free tomorrow. Trust that He’s preparing something powerful in the middle of your process.

Keep Going. God’s Not Finished Yet

Yes, it’s difficult. Yes, it’s heavy. But you are not alone, and you are not without hope. God is with you, for you, and working through you. What seems impossible in your strength is completely possible in His.

So don’t quit. Don’t give up. The breakthrough is coming. The door will open. The healing will come. The restoration is on the way.

It’s difficult, but it’s not impossible.

Because with God… all things are possible.

Keep moving forward. Keep trusting. Keep walking.

Thanks for this, I needed to hear it. I had back surgery Dec of 23 and I’m still on a walker and keep myself in pain trying to do what needs doing here in my home, I was fused from L2 thru S1 and ended up with foot drop in my right foot. On top of that I broke my back in the L1 vertebrae this past Jan just by bending down to put a bowl in the fridge, it’s been very hard and still on the journey to trying to walk on my own again and regain my strength, I’m 57, soon to be 58, I’ve had to miss alot of church but I still love my God more than anything, I would really appreciate any and all prayers of faith that I can get. Bless you all.
